Video Transcription
In this video, I'm going to demonstrate the course overview tab behavior and what the learner sees when the first time they get inside a course and once they start the course what the beginning behavior would be in this regard. So when the first learner sees is the prompt matter on the left-hand side, it's just a basic left-hand prompt additional information overview of what the course entails. And once the learner starts the course, they're also presented with an overview of the course more detailed about what the course entails and the courses that is included and I guess anything that is important that the client wants to provide for the learner when they access the course. So by default, the first time learner will see the overview tab page. Once they go to the content, the learner has already started the course and is able to see whatever is included in the video. So in this case, you can see that there's two bundled courses and this could be just a single on-demand course or a product that does have an overview or additional information. So once the learner has already started, next time the learner goes back out to his catalog and goes back into the course, the default behavior would be that he's no longer seeing the overview tab by default. The learner is able to click on it and view it again but the learner sees the contents. So this is a behavior by design and the reason being is once the introduction which we consider the overview is already presented to the first timer, the next time the learner comes in, we want the learner to be able to see the content and where they left off.
Video Summary
The video explains the behavior of the course overview tab for learners. Initially, first-time learners see a basic overview prompt on the left, outlining course details. After starting, they view a more detailed course overview. Upon returning, the learner bypasses the overview tab and directly accesses the course content from where they left off. This design ensures that the initial overview is presented only once, focusing subsequent visits on course content for continuous learning.
